target audiences

This is my post about target audiences, there are lots of different types of target audiences including postmodernist's who like films that are ultra modern and that break conventions, hedonists who like gory shocking films and watch if purely for there own pleasure, traditionalists who like older material and are a safe bet, there is also preffered- the audience the movie is aimed for example age gender etc ,active-they choose to see the film and passive-acidently seeing the film for example going with a friend to see a film and no knowing what it is about and also if they are going with there partner or children to see a film they wouldnt choose themself. there is also the acorn system which defines people who watch films into groups depending on there earnings and situation.

Introduction

this my first post in media, i havent done any other media before and this is my first experience of it. i choose media because i stopped taking history and decieded this would be a more interesting subject.
